Our Super Morlock Adventure Quest

And what a adventure quest it was! Who doesn't like taking pictures of random crap downtown? I know I do! And to prove it, I have the many, many pictures. Keep in mind, half of these pictures were done in the dark, because at the time of day when we were taking pictures, well, it was dark.

So there you have it. We missed a few shots because it was too late and some stores were closed. We missed the pamphlets in the Silver Snail, the sandwich sign outside the black market. There was also no artwork on the sidewalk that we needed to find. But we did what we could, and we had a lot of fun. Luckily I have Google Maps on my phone are we would have been out there all night looking for the Silver Snail and the Black Bull. But, Enjoy.

VERY FIRST Attempt at Water Color Painting

You must keep in mind, I have never painted with water color paint before. I had no idea I had to use so much water! I figured it was just like any other kind of paint; I was wrong. Not to mention the things that Andrew made us paint were impossible(Except for maybe the Red M&M. Oh well, I figured that wasn't the point of the assignment anyway so I went with it, and here was my results:

If you can't tell, this is supposed to be Spawn and the Red M&M. I did this one before someone told me that that was not how I should paint with watercolor.

This one is SUPPOSED to be some "Spider-like" creature ( I use this term lightly) from Battlestar Galaxtica, which is a show that I have never seen. At least now I kind of understand to use less paint and more water. I'm getting there!

This one here is supposed to be the main villains in reality from the movie trilogy "The Matrix" This I HAVE seen and thought was pretty good. Making one of those creatures with watercolor however, very difficult. Then again, like I said before I don't think believability and detail was the focus of this project.

8-Bit Left for Dead

Let's give a big thank you to Mr. Eric Ruth for giving us the "de make" of Left for Dead. Now we don't have to wonder what a fantastic game like Left for Dead will be like for the NES. Eric Ruth states that he will release the full game January 2010. Apparently Valve is aware of this "de make" and think that it is hilarious. The full release will come packed with all the campaigns of the original game but can only go up to 2 players.

Watch some game play here:

Robo-Hades

I never thought I would see the day that the God of Hell would be transformed into a Robot. I'm sure the Greeks would be a little upset.  This is just one of the suprises that is in Epic Mickey. We have a Robo Donald, Cross Dresser Pete, and to top it off, beautiful artwork.
